Description
High-Performance Brake Upgrade. The Baer Extreme+ Rear Big Brake Kit with 14-Inch Rotors and Comp Yellow Calipers is engineered to deliver superior stopping power and enhanced durability for serious performance applications. This kit upgrades the rear brakes with larger rotors and fixed 6-piston calipers to improve braking response and heat dissipation during aggressive driving.
Construction and Appearance. The calipers are CNC machined from US sourced 2618 aluminum forgings and finished with a powder coat for durability and corrosion resistance. The kit features stainless steel pistons, abutments, and noise suppression clips, along with vented, two-piece slotted and drilled rotors with zinc plating and billet aluminum hats. All hardware and hoses are stainless steel, ensuring long-lasting performance and a professional appearance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward for experienced enthusiasts, as rotors come pre-assembled with hardware. The kit reuses the OE caliper mounting system and parking brake components, simplifying the upgrade process.
Application. Designed to fit 65-82 Corvette C2 & C3 equipped with OE rear disc brake trailing arms, providing a bolt-on fitment and optimal compatibility with most 18-inch or larger wheels.
