Description
Side Exhaust Covers. The Side Exhaust Covers Unpainted provide a classic restoration solution by replicating the style of 1963 to 1967 side exhaust covers. These covers protect and enhance the side exhaust while allowing customization through painting to either mimic the original chrome or match the vehicle's color. They are essential for maintaining the authentic look of the exhaust system in a vintage Corvette restoration.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from fiberglass, these covers are reproduced to match original design details. The unpainted finish invites custom painting, though due to the fiberglass molding process, fitting, prepping, and smoothing of minor mold lines or imperfections is necessary prior to the paint application.
Installation. Installation requires moderate skill as the covers must be properly fitted and prepped to ensure an accurate and secure fit to the vehicle’s exhaust area.
Warranty. A limited warranty covers defects if claims are made within 30 days of shipment and parts are returned prepaid for inspection.
