Description
Precision Reproduction. The Side Exhaust Covers are exact reproductions designed to replace original covers on specific vintage Corvettes. They protect and enhance the appearance of the side exhaust pipes, providing an authentic restoration component for the vehicle’s exterior. Their design ensures proper fit and function with original style exhaust setups.
Construction and Appearance. These covers are made from anodized aluminum and feature securely bonded dark gray fiberglass heat shields that match the original color and texture. The tooling was created based on original blueprints to achieve crisp lines, wrinkle-free bends, and accurate paint details, resulting in a high-quality and durable finish.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with the included mounting hardware and correct U-nuts that replicate original parts, ensuring an authentic fit. Typically, no drilling is required when used with the appropriate original style side pipes.
Application. Designed specifically to fit 1965 through 1967 Corvette C2 models with 2-inch and 2.5-inch original style side pipes. These covers are not compatible with older chrome aftermarket side pipes.
