Description
Replacement Accumulator for 1977-1979 Chevrolet Corvette, Original Style
No Switch Port. Port is located on on suction hose for this application.
The accumulator helps maintain proper temperatures inside your car by removing moisture from the A/C system and collecting liquid refrigerant to keep from reaching the compressor. It's role is very important because moisture is the #1 Enemy of air conditioning systems.
It is necessary to replace the accumulator and orifice tube anytime the system is opened up to the atmosphere. Compatible with both R-12 and 134a refrigerants.
