Description
Performance Air Cleaner. The Air Cleaner Set, Round, Black - 14 X 3 features efficient air filtration suitable for carbureted engines. It maintains a clean engine bay appearance and is ideal for upgrading or maintaining street rods, muscle cars, and classic builds needing a high-quality, compatible air cleaner.
Construction and Appearance. Made from durable black-plated stamped steel with a matte finish that resists wear and corrosion. Its recessed drop base design lowers the filter 1-1/8" below the carburetor flange, providing increased hood clearance and a sleek under-hood look.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with included hardware and requires no additional drilling. Designed for an easy and secure fit on most 5-1/8" carburetor necks.
Application. Designed to fit vehicles with single quad carburetors and standard 5-1/8” carburetor necks, including many classic Corvette C1, C2, and C3 models from 1953-1982. Note that this air cleaner will not clear electric chokes and compatibility should be verified based on specific engine and carburetor configurations.
