Description
Precision Performance Upgrade. The Exhaust, B&B, Tri-Flo L83 & L98 Performance, 1984-1985 offers enhanced exhaust flow designed specifically for improved power and sound in Corvette V8 engines. This system replaces the factory mufflers and pipes to reduce backpressure and provide better throttle response with a more aggressive exhaust note.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted entirely from premium T-304 stainless steel, the exhaust features mandrel bends for optimal airflow and durability. The system is finished with distinctive 4 1/2 inch quad rolled oval tips, delivering a refined and aggressive look that complements the Corvette’s styling while resisting corrosion.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required, though a lift is recommended for ease of removing factory components. The system utilizes existing hangers and hardware for a secure fit and allows final alignment adjustments. Removing the stock mufflers in one piece may require cutting the factory axle hoop if a lift is not available.
