Description
Performance Exhaust System. The Hooker BlackHeart Header-Back Exhaust System is engineered to enhance exhaust flow and boost engine efficiency for classic Chevrolet Corvettes. This system replaces the factory exhaust back to the tailpipe, maintaining the original tailpipe exit position while delivering improved performance through reduced backpressure.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from durable 2-1/4" 16-gauge aluminized steel tubing, the system features mandrel-bent pipes to ensure smooth flow and minimize restrictions. The aluminized steel provides corrosion resistance suitable for racing applications.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with included hardware and instructions, designed to fit existing factory locations without modification. No drilling or welding is necessary, making it an accessible upgrade.
Application. Designed specifically for Chevrolet Corvette models equipped with 327 and 350 cubic inch V8 engines from the C2 and C3 generations. This system is not legal for use on emissions-controlled vehicles and is intended for racing use only.
