Designed for engines with 5-speed transmissions, this starter ensures reliable engine engagement and efficient starting performance. It is ideal for high compression engines up to 18:1 ratio, making it essential for custom and performance automotive applications.

      Construction and Appearance. Manufactured with a billet aluminum mounting block for durability and strength, this starter features a chrome finish for corrosion resistance and an attractive look. The design includes a 3/4 inch offset and a compact profile to clear most headers and oil pans, enhancing fitment versatility.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required, designed to replace OEM starters with a nose extending 2-3/8 inches past the mounting surface. Measurement of the depth from the starter mounting surface to the ring gear is recommended for proper fit.

      Application. Fits 351W engines equipped with 5-speed manual transmissions using a 157-tooth ring gear. Suitable for both automatic and manual transmissions with specified gear and ring combinations as noted.
