The PerTronix Flame-Thrower Electronic Distributor with Magnetic Trigger and Vacuum Advance; Male Terminals; Red is engineered to deliver precise ignition control and reliable operation. It replaces traditional mechanical points with a magnetic pickup coil for exact timing and consistent spark signals at all engine speeds, enhancing performance and reliability in demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from precision CNC-machined aluminum housing with a polished finish, this billet distributor includes a durable steel shaft supported by an upper ball bearing. The lightweight FC-0208 alloy reluctor and overmolded coil provide dimensional stability and corrosion resistance, ensuring long-lasting durability and a clean, professional appearance under the hood.
Installation. Designed as a plug-and-play unit, this distributor is easy to install with no drilling required, fitting directly into the factory location. It includes a standard Tyco Mate-N-Lok connector for straightforward wiring compatibility with most ignition system harnesses.
