      Description

      High Performance Thermal Insulation. The Hushmat Sound Deadening and Insulation Kit is designed to reduce interior heat and road noise by insulating vehicle surfaces from engine and exhaust heat. This kit offers complete coverage with easy peel-and-stick application, improving cabin comfort by lowering thermal transfer and dampening vibration.

      Construction and Appearance. Manufactured in the USA, the insulation consists of a butyl rubber layer laminated to an aluminum constraining foil, providing strong adhesion, flexibility, and heat resistance up to 550 degrees Fahrenheit. It features a durable black polymer surface on the installed side with a silver or black backing film, less than 1/8 inch thick and lightweight for easy handling and installation.

      Installation. The kit is straightforward to install with no special tools or chemicals required, fitting directly onto clean surfaces with a peel-and-stick adhesive. No drilling or additional fasteners are necessary, and it installs in half the time compared to competitor products.
