Description
Performance Exhaust Upgrade. These Super Competition 1-7/8-Inch Sidemount Headers in polished 304 stainless steel are engineered to improve exhaust flow, increase horsepower, and enhance sound quality for early Corvettes. Designed specifically for racing enthusiasts, they deliver aggressive styling along with optimized exhaust scavenging and velocity.
Construction and Appearance. Made from durable and lightweight 18 gauge 304 stainless steel tubing with a polished finish, these headers feature mandrel-bent primary tubes for smooth exhaust flow. The 5/16” thick machined flanges ensure a precise, leak-free seal, while the long transition 4.00-inch collector reduces back pressure, improving overall performance.
Installation. These headers are designed for direct bolt-on installation using the included hardware and gaskets, requiring no drilling. Proper fitment requires motor mounts that locate the engine in its factory position.
Application. Engineered for 1963-1974 Small Block V8 Corvette models (C2 & C3), these side-mount headers are intended for racing use only and are not legal for emissions-controlled vehicles.
