Performance Exhaust Upgrade. The Super Competition 1-7/8-Inch Sidemount Headers in Black Paint are designed to optimize exhaust flow for early Corvette small block engines. These headers replace factory manifolds with a long-tube, sidemount design that enhances exhaust scavenging and provides an aggressive style suited for racing applications.

Construction and Appearance. Crafted from 304 stainless steel with 18 gauge mandrel-bent tubing, the headers offer durability and smooth exhaust flow. The high-heat resistant black paint finish protects against corrosion and complements the vintage Corvette’s appearance.

Installation. Installation includes all necessary gaskets and mounting hardware. These headers require motor mounts that locate the engine in the factory position. The sidemount tubes slip directly to the collector for a leak-free seal, facilitating proper fitment without modifying the engine location.

Fitment and Application. These headers fit 1963 through 1974 Chevrolet Corvette C2 and C3 models equipped with small block V8 engines. They are intended for racing use only and are designed specifically for vehicles with factory-location motor mounts. Emission restrictions apply; these headers are not compatible with emissions-controlled vehicles.
