Carburetor Heat Insulator. The Edelbrock 9267 Dual Quad Insulator Kit 2 is designed to prevent fuel percolation and maintain carburetor performance under high under hood temperatures. It acts as a thermal barrier between the carburetor and intake manifold, ensuring consistent fuel delivery and optimal engine operation. This gasket is essential for reliable carburetor function in demanding thermal environments.

Construction and Appearance. Made from a durable nitrile rubber composite, this heat insulator offers excellent heat resistance and durability. It features a dual quad four-hole square bore design with eight precise mounting holes measuring 0.35 inches in diameter. The gasket measures 0.125 inches thick and is engineered to provide effective sealing and insulation under extreme conditions.

Installation. Installing this insulator requires removal of the carburetor along with associated fuel, vacuum, and throttle linkages. The gasket mounts using existing hardware without the need for drilling, and longer studs are supplied to accommodate the heater's thickness.

Warranty. The product includes a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturing defects.
