      1" Drop Spindle x2_x000D_LH & RH Steering Arms_x000D_Machined out of 6061-T6_x000D_Raised Roll Center_x000D_Retains Factory D8 Calipers and Rotors_x000D_Preserves and can Improve Ride Quality _x000D_Improves Handling_x000D_Retains Suspension Travel_x000D_Reduced Weight_x000D_Big Bearing Hubs (1969-82)_x000D_ _x000D__x000D_Our billet aluminum drop spindles preserve ride quality b/c spring rate is not changed and shock absorbers retain shock travel (for non lowered cars). For lowered cars with reduced shock travel, drop spindles will help improve ride because it will give back 1" of shock travel that was lost making the shock less likely to bottom out. These will pair great with BB coil springs in SB cars for a total of 1.75-2" drop or coilovers._x000D__x000D_ _x000D__x000D_Drop spindles will also improve handing because of a lower center of gravity._x000D__x000D_ _x000D__x000D_The spindles and steering arms reduce unsprung weight netting a 9 lbs. weight loss, 4.5 lbs. per side. Unsprung weight improves traction and stability by allowing the wheels to follow the contours of the road more closely, increasing tire contact and improving grip. With less mass moving up and down the wheels can change direction faster thus, making the car more responsive._x000D__x000D_ _x000D__x000D_These drop spindles are taller than OE. By raising roll center it decreases body roll and increases stability. Does NOT change track width. _x000D__x000D_ _x000D__x000D_Included in this kit are 2 new late hubs. New front hubs come complete with Timken Bearings. Each hub is inspected after the races are installed for proper run out spec. This ensures no pad knock and a better braking system. Our hubs are made in America out of 4140 Annealed and are stronger than factory cast hubs. Late hubs (1969-82) are required for now_x000D__x000D_ _x000D__x000D_Factory Caliper Mounting brackets are re-used when assembling the kit but a small modification has to be made to the bracket. A 7/16" hole needs to be drilled out to 1/2" or buy new late brackets.
