      Description

      Factory-Style Steering Control. The Steering Damper Shock is a direct replacement solution for restoring smooth steering performance in 1963 to 1968 Corvette models equipped without power steering. Designed specifically for base horsepower engines, this damper absorbs front-end vibrations and stabilizes steering input, improving comfort and control during driving. It's a must-have for maintaining original road feel in classic restorations.

      Construction and Appearance. Made in the USA, this replacement shock comes complete with the necessary mounting hardware and is manufactured to meet OE fit and function. Built for durability and consistent damping performance, it is compatible only with models that use a base horsepower oil pan and excludes fuel-injected, special high-performance, or power steering-equipped Corvettes.

      Installation. The damper installs easily using standard tools and factory mounting points, making it ideal for both DIY and professional restorations.
