      Description

      Restored Steering Precision. The Borgeson Saginaw Manual Steering Box for Corvette C2 replicates the original Saginaw geometry while replacing worn components with modern, heat-treated alloy gears and PTFE-lined bushings, restoring tight, direct steering feel and eliminating excess play.

      Built for Longevity and Ease of Adjustment. Featuring an adjustable sector shaft mesh and pre-finished bronze bearing, this steering box allows precise tuning of gear engagement to maintain smooth operation and resist wear over miles of spirited driving.

      Installation. This product installs by unbolting the old steering box, positioning the Borgeson unit on the factory mounting flange, torquing the bolts to specification, and adjusting the sector shaft backlash—basic hand tools and a steering box wrench set are required.

      Application. This Borgeson Saginaw Manual Steering Box fits 1963–1967 Corvette C2 chassis with factory Saginaw steering mounts without modification.
