The BluePrint Engines Small Block Chevy 400 C.I. 500 HP Long Block Crate Engine delivers robust power and torque for automotive enthusiasts seeking substantial performance upgrades. Designed for use in compatible GM small block vehicles, it provides dependable, race-inspired performance for street, strip, or restoration projects.

      CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. This engine features a high-strength cast iron block manufactured and machined in the USA, paired with premium forged steel crankshaft and pistons for durability. The aluminum cylinder heads boast a .500 raised port design and are equipped with large valves and runners to optimize airflow. The engine is assembled with attention to detail, including a 1-piece rear main seal and 4-bolt main caps, finished with quality valve covers, timing cover, and oil pan.

      INSTALLATION. Installation is straightforward for experienced professionals and enthusiasts, with the block drilled and tapped for clutch linkage and provision for a mechanical fuel pump. Being a long block, it integrates easily into compatible vehicle setups without requiring special modifications.

      WARRANTY. This engine includes industry-leading warranty coverage providing peace of mind over extended use.

      APPLICATION. Specifically built to fit GM Small Block compatible platforms, this engine is not intended for EGR-equipped applications.
