Locking Transmission Dipstick. The Allstar Performance Locking Transmission Dipstick is designed to provide a secure, leak-proof method for checking and maintaining transmission fluid levels. It features a positive locking mechanism that firmly keeps the dipstick in place to prevent fluid leaks and contamination during vehicle operation—essential for high-performance and racing applications.
Construction and Appearance. Made from steel with durable cadmium plating, this dipstick kit includes steel case fill tubes with a gold finish. It incorporates a welded-on mounting tab for secure positioning and uses a rubber grommet type seal to significantly reduce the risk of leaks compared to traditional o-ring seals.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling thanks to the welded mounting tab. Designed for easy replacement and maintenance in compatible transmissions.
