      Description

      Performance Flywheel. The ACT XACT Prolite Steel Flywheel; 168-Tooth is engineered to provide the lowest inertia among flywheels, significantly improving throttle response and acceleration. Primarily designed for high-performance road or rally racing, it enhances engine responsiveness while offering a lightweight solution integral to quick power delivery.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from durable Chromoly Steel, this flywheel is forged, CNC machined, and dynamically computer balanced for optimal strength, rigidity, and smooth operation at high RPMs. Its one-piece construction ensures uniform heat transfer and includes induction-hardened ring gears to prolong life and minimize wear, with a precision friction surface engineered for maximum durability.

      Installation. Installation of the flywheel requires standard mechanical skills without the need for drilling or special modifications. It is serviceable and can be resurfaced easily while maintaining the proper flywheel step critical to clutch function.

      Warranty. This product comes with a 12-month warranty ensuring coverage for quality and workmanship.

      Application. Specifically designed to fit 55-80 V8 Corvette C1, C2 & C3 models, providing a direct fit with no noted exclusions for these generations.
