      Description

      Premium Suspension Emulator. The Shock Absorber Simulator Kit for FX3/F55 Selective Real Time Damping systems replicates the signals normally sent by active magnetic shocks on 1996–2002 C5 Corvettes. When installing aftermarket or non-F55 dampers, this kit prevents the dreaded Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) and the 80 mph speed limiter from activating by fooling the ECM into “thinking” the original electronics are still connected.

      Construction and Appearance. Each kit comprises eight solid-state electronic modules—two per wheel—for shock and position sensor circuits. Housed in rugged plastic enclosures with integrated male/female OEM-style connectors, they’re engineered for a clean plug-and-play installation. The color is neutral matte black, blending unobtrusively with the factory wiring harness, and each unit is labeled for correct placement.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward and typically takes under 30 minutes—simply unplug the factory shock/sensor connectors and plug in the emulator modules. No drilling, splicing, or additional wiring is required.
