Description
Precise Replacement Hose. The hose is designed to connect the water shut-off valve to the water pump efficiently, facilitating the flow of glycol-based coolants to regulate engine temperature and maintain optimal performance. This hose is essential for preventing overheating and ensuring the longevity of the vehicle’s cooling system.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted with an EPDM tube and cover reinforced by synthetic knit, this molded rubber hose offers excellent durability and flexibility. It is compatible with ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, and long-life organic acid modified coolants. The hose meets or exceeds SAE 20R3EC Class D1 and D2 specifications and features resistance to electrochemical degradation, withstanding temperatures from -40°F to 275°F.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no drilling or specialized tools. It is designed to provide an exact fit, ensuring a secure and leak-free connection with minimal effort.
Application. This hose fits the 1985 to 1987 Corvette C4 models but does not fit those equipped with the KC4 oil cooler option.
