It replicates the L88 long‑style hood, eliminating the wiper door for a cleaner, race‑inspired aesthetic. Crafted for enthusiasts, this hood offers both performance appeal and classic styling while retaining full compatibility with original hinges and support mechanisms.

      Construction and Appearance. This hood features a hand‑rolled fiberglass build with three layers of 3.5 oz mat and a 21 mil soft‑sanding gel coat. The mold is heavily reinforced and based on original GM panels, delivering bubble‑ and wave‑free finish. Reinforced by machined steel plates riveted to the inner hood, the flawless precision‑trimmed and pre‑drilled edges minimize prep time—ready for paint and installation straight out of the box.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required, as it reuses the stock hinges and support structure. Alignment is precise, making the installation process clean and efficient for both DIYers and professional shops.
