Description
High-Performance Electronic Tachometer. This new 1968-1971 Corvette electronic conversion tachometer assembly with a 6500 RPM redline provides accurate RPM readings with modern electronic operation. It is designed for vehicles without mechanical tachometer drives or with LS engines and includes an option to customize the redline on request.
Construction and Appearance. The tachometer is assembled from all new parts and calibrated using a digital square wave generator. The dial face is correct for 1968-1971 Corvette applications, with clear markings up to a 6500 RPM redline. The appearance is period-correct for these model years.
Installation. Installation requires only a simple three-wire hookup and does not require any modifications to the original dash cluster. The tachometer installs directly without drilling or fabrication, allowing for a quick and reversible setup.
Application. This tachometer fits 1968 to 1971 Corvette C3 models as a direct electronic conversion tachometer assembly, intended to replace the mechanical units where no tach drive generator or distributor signal is present.
