      Description

      Power Steering Linkage Rod. This Power Steering Relay Rod fits 1963 through 1982 Chevrolet Corvette models. The rod connects the idler arm, power steering valve, and pitman/linkage assembly to the steering cylinder, restoring proper power‑steering function and original steering feel.

      Construction And Appearance. The relay rod is constructed from steel forged to GM OEM specifications, reconditioned or newly made with a 7/8-inch diameter shaft and exact steering‑geometry fit. It is finished in a durable powder‑coat or black oxide finish to resist corrosion while maintaining the classic corrosion‑resistant appearance.

      Installation. Installing the relay rod requires moderate mechanical skill. It typically bolts into place; no welding needed. Minimal drilling is required, and it bolts directly onto existing power‑steering linkage points using stock hardware.
