Description
Door Striker Mount Screws. The Door Striker Screws are essential hardware designed to securely mount the door lock striker plate on classic Corvette models. They ensure proper alignment and reliable latching of the doors, contributing to safe and consistent door operation. These screws are critical for maintaining the original function and fit of the door mechanism.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from zinc-plated steel, these countersunk screws feature a flat Phillips head for a flush finish. The zinc plating offers corrosion resistance, while the included dished external tooth star washers enhance grip and prevent loosening from vibrations.
Installation. Installation is straightforward for those familiar with door hardware replacement, requiring no additional drilling as these screws are designed to fit factory mounting points. Proper torque application ensures secure installation without damaging the mounting surfaces.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit 1963 through 1967 Corvette C2 models, these screws match original specifications to ensure authentic restoration and functionality of the door striker mounts.
