Description
Classic Bluetooth Radio. The Radio, AM/FM WB Stereo, 61-62 combines the nostalgic look and feel of the original 1961-62 Corvette Wonderbar radio with modern technology. It provides AM and FM radio reception, wireless Bluetooth audio streaming, and hands-free calling capabilities. This blend of vintage style with updated features allows seamless integration into classic Corvette interiors while maintaining authentic operation.
Construction and Appearance. The radio features a chrome plated diecast nose piece, original style knobs, backrings, and shaft bezels. The dial glass displays an exact copy of the original AM scale with a hidden FM scale behind it. The internal radio case is compact at 3.25” deep, enabling accommodation of additional dash options. All pushbuttons, knobs, and dial pointers move authentically to replicate the original Wonderbar radio’s operation. Warm white LED lights illuminate the dial and pushbuttons, providing a vintage look without the heat or maintenance of incandescent bulbs.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with no modifications or drilling required to fit into the original 1961-62 Corvette dash. The included 12 ½” 12-wire harness offers easy plug-and-play connection for power, ground, speakers, dial lights, and external accessories.
