All 1955 bulbs are 6 volt. All 1956-1957 bulbs are 12 volt.

Bulbs burn out; it’s just a fact of life. And, Murphy’s Law states they will burn out at the worst time in the worst possible place. Over time, constant heating and cooling slowly deteriorates the seal where the contacts are exposed allowing the gas to escape from the bulb.

Note: For the best electrical connection and to make removing bulbs smooth and easy, don't forget to order bulb grease. Order spare bulbs so the next time your bulb burns out, you're prepared!
