High-Performance Cooling Solution. The DeWitts 1955-1960 Corvette Aluminum Radiator Direct-Fit Replacement delivers efficient cooling engineered specifically for classic C1 Corvette models. It replaces the stock radiator to manage engine temperatures under a variety of conditions, ensuring reliable performance and preventing overheating during both regular driving and high-demand situations.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from premium aluminum, this radiator features press-formed, fully welded tanks without any plastic or rubber components, ensuring excellent durability and resistance to leaks. The core is furnace brazed under a controlled atmosphere and complemented by TIG welded tanks and brackets. The factory-style mounting design pairs with an optional Black Ice semi-gloss epoxy finish, providing an authentic appearance while enhancing corrosion protection.
Installation. Designed as a true Direct Fit® upgrade, this radiator requires no modifications or drilling for installation. It comes with factory-standard inlet and outlet connections compatible with reproduction or aftermarket hoses, simplifying the installation process.
