      Description

      Mr. Gasket Ultra-Seal Exhaust Gaskets

      Mr. Gasket Ultra-Seal exhaust gaskets are designed and constructed to improve the sealing of exhaust header flanges. Unlike standard exhaust gasket material, Ultra-Seal gaskets incorporate a graphite-impregnated facing and a steel-expanded metal core that reinforces and increases their tensile strength. This allows the gaskets to conform to warped flanges, giving them better sealing capabilities without deteriorating or cracking under the excessive heat and pressure that's common in exhaust systems. Ultra-Seal gaskets are available for a wide range of port styles and sizes.

      Additional features and benefits:

      Expanded steel core provides stability and maximum torque retention to eliminate gasket failure
      Graphite facing provides excellent heat resistance and thermal conductivity to transfer heat away from the cylinder head
      High-recovery material allows header or manifold flange to stay sealed if flange loses clamp-load
      Can be trimmed for modified port applications
      Designed for OE replacement, high performance street, drag race, road racing, and oval track use
