Description
ET Street S/S. If your high-powered vehicle pulls double duty on the street and at the strip you are going to need a good set of tires to get all your ponies to the pavement. Mickey Thompson's P285/40R18 ET Street S/S Tire Drag Radials feature a tubeless radial design and their super sticky soft R2 race compound to make sure you hook up every time for consistent runs. The ET Street S/S is an approved Drag Radial, meaning that it is perfect for use at the race track and for occasional fair-weather street use.
Soft Race-Type R2 Compound. The soft race-style R2 compound of this ET Street S/S Tire by Mickey Thompson is designed for the ultimate in dry traction and straight-line performance driving. Keep in mind, that this super soft and flexible compound will wear much quicker than compounds designed for regular everyday street tires.
Aggressive Tread Design. The ET Street S/S has a low void and directional tread design that ensures continuous contact and superior grip. The tread features a large center block for excellent dry traction and strategically placed sipes to aid in hydroplane resistance.
Superior Construction. Mickey Thompson utilizes reinforced steel belts and proven polyester-ply tubeless construction. This provides strength and durability for excellent ride control on both the street and the strip.
DOT Approved. Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S Tires are DOT-approved making them safe for street and strip use. Now you can drive to the track, race your vehicle, and drive home all on the same set of wheels and tires. This tire is recommended for dry pavement use only.
