Description

The Baer Classic Series Front Big Brake Kit with 13-Inch Rotors and Red Calipers provides enhanced stopping power and improved brake performance over original equipment brakes. Designed for street and light performance use, this kit upgrades your vehicle's front braking system for better heat dissipation and pedal feel, helping ensure safer and more confident braking.
Construction and Appearance. This braking system features aluminum 2-piston pad guided calipers finished in durable red powder coating with a black logo, paired with vented 13-inch rotors that are slotted, drilled, and zinc plated for corrosion resistance and heat management. Stainless steel braided hoses improve durability and braking response, and the one-piece integral hub rotor design simplifies installation.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with included modified stock height spindles, premium bearings, mounting brackets, dust caps, stainless steel braided hoses, and hardware requiring no rotor or spindle machining. While no rotor or spindle modifications are needed, wheel compatibility should be verified prior to installation to ensure proper clearance and fitment. This kit requires a 15/16-inch master cylinder for optimal pedal feel; a 7/8-inch master cylinder is acceptable for manual brake systems.
Application. Designed to fit 1973-1977 GM A-Body, 1970-1981 F-Body, and 1975-1979 X-Body vehicles, including 1970-1981 Camaro models. The kit matches a 5x4.75 wheel lug pattern and 1/2-20 wheel stud size, with a minimum wheel diameter requirement of 17 inches. Wheel template verification is recommended to ensure proper fitment with factory or aftermarket wheels.
