The P/N 90075 solid engine mount kit for GM F-body cars is designed to place the Small Block Chevy in the exact factory location. It utilizes the popular P/N 90051 solid lower mount along with the 90074 clamshell mount. The kit features tough 3/16” laser cut brackets and Grade 8 hardware, making it capable of handling high amounts of horsepower. Solid engine mounts improve responsiveness and help prevent engine movement, which can be beneficial in tight packaging situations such as with large header primaries or turbos. It is important to note that solid engine mounts work best in racing applications and may contribute to increased Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH). The kit is available in a gloss black powder coat finish and is proudly manufactured, tested, and raced in Philipsburg, PA, USA. Please be aware that the heavy-duty engine mounts are not compatible with Oldsmobile or Pontiac engines.
