UMI P/N 90074 heavy duty engine mounts are designed for GM 2nd Gen F-body cars, replacing the factory clamshell mount. These mounts ensure that the Small Block Chevy engine is positioned in the exact factory location. They can be used with either UMI's P/N 90051 solid motor mounts or with the factory rubber mounts. The mounts are made of tough 3/16” laser cut brackets and Grade 8 hardware, capable of handling high horsepower. When paired with the solid engine mounts, they improve responsiveness and reduce engine movement, particularly beneficial in tight packaging situations such as with large header primaries or turbos. However, solid engine mounts are recommended for racing applications and may increase Noise, Vibration, and Harshness. The mounts come in a gloss black powder coat finish and are proudly manufactured, tested, and raced in Philipsburg, PA, USA. Please note that these heavy duty engine mounts are not compatible with Oldsmobile or Pontiac engines.
