      Description

      High-Performance Intake Manifold. The Edelbrock Performer Vortec Intake Manifold is designed to optimize airflow and power delivery for Small-Block Chevrolet Vortec engines. It facilitates the installation of carburetors and improves engine efficiency, making it ideal for performance builds and restorations.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from durable aluminum, this intake manifold features a satin finish that enhances appearance and provides corrosion resistance. The dual-plane design improves torque and drivability across a wide RPM range from idle to 5500 RPM.

      Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill, with no drilling necessary, but some modification to stock brackets may be required. Recommended gasket #7235 and use of RTV sealant on end seals ensure a proper seal. OEM 4-barrel electric choke carburetors are recommended. Carburetor bracket #8032 and hardened washers are required for intake bolts. This manifold does not fit under the stock Corvette hood. Use Teflon tape or paste on pipe threads and do not overtighten NPT fittings for a secure installation.

      Warranty. This product includes a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects.

      Application. Fits 1967-1972 Camaro models. Note that modifications may be necessary for stock brackets, and it does not fit under the stock Corvette hood.
