Description

Electronic Ignition Upgrade. The PerTronix Ignitor Electronic Ignition Conversion Kit with Lobe Sensor replaces mechanical breaker points in ignition distributors. It improves ignition performance by providing a precise Hall Effect trigger signal, increasing spark energy and enhancing horsepower and fuel efficiency. This kit is ideal for mechanics wanting to modernize and improve the reliability of original ignition systems.

Construction and Appearance. The module is epoxy molded to resist dirt, oil, grease, and moisture, ensuring durability and longevity. Designed to fit inside the original distributor housing, it maintains the stock appearance under the hood. Internally, rotating cobalt magnets trigger an integrated Hall Effect circuit, eliminating moving parts that are subject to wear.

Installation. Installation is simple and requires no drilling or additional modifications. The kit installs directly in place of the original points assembly, providing a clean, maintenance-free upgrade.
