The PerTronix Flame-Thrower Electronic Distributor with Vacuum Advance, Magnetic Trigger and Slip Collar; Male Terminals; Red provides a precise and reliable ignition signal with its magnetic pickup coil and engineered reluctor. Designed to offer accurate performance at both low and high RPMs, this distributor is essential for optimizing ignition timing and ensuring consistent spark delivery.
Construction and Appearance. This distributor features a billet CNC-machined aluminum housing with a polished natural finish for durability and aesthetic appeal. It includes a steel distributor shaft supported by an upper ball bearing for smooth operation and uses a lightweight FC-0208 alloy reluctor for dimensional stability. The red distributor cap is equipped with male terminals, and the product utilizes an unsealed Tyco Mate-N-Lok connector for easy wiring.
Installation. Installation requires basic mechanical skills and no drilling, as it is designed to be a plug-and-play replacement. The adjustable collar simplifies alignment to achieve correct ignition timing.
