It replaces stock distributors to provide enhanced accuracy, stronger spark delivery, and compatibility with modern ignition systems, making it essential for tuning and maintaining classic Chevrolet V8s.
Durable Construction and Appearance. This distributor features a CNC-machined polished aluminum housing for strength and a refined look. The steel shaft is supported by an upper ball bearing for precise shaft alignment at all RPMs. The magnetic pickup coil is overmolded for corrosion resistance and paired with a lightweight, dimensionally stable FC-0208 alloy reluctor, ensuring consistent spark timing.
Effortless Installation. Designed as a plug-and-play upgrade, this distributor installs easily with no special modifications or drilling required. It utilizes standard Tyco Mate-N-Lok connectors compatible with most ignition harnesses, enabling quick integration with capacitive discharge ignition setups.
