Description
Standalone Engine Management. The FiTech Fuel Injection Ultimate LS Standalone ECU with Transmission Control is a complete engine management solution designed to replace OEM computers and harnesses on LS Gen III and IV engines. It features self-learning capabilities and electronic transmission control, making it ideal for LS swap projects. This ECU optimizes engine and transmission performance through precise management of fuel, spark, and shift parameters.
Construction and Appearance. The ECU comes in a durable enclosure suitable for automotive use, paired with a custom plug-and-play wiring harness that interfaces with factory components. The kit includes a touchscreen controller with a color display mounted via a windshield bracket. The included O2 sensor bung kit is made of stainless steel for corrosion resistance and reliable performance.
Installation. Installation is designed to be straightforward with plug-and-play wiring harnesses reducing the need for complex wiring. Minor adaptation or modifications may be necessary depending on the vehicle, especially for mounting the O2 sensor bung, which may require drilling, welding, or clamping. The system integrates with existing factory crank and cam sensors as well as GM automatic transmissions with minimal adaptation required.
Warranty. This product includes a 3-year limited warranty.
Application. Fits universal LS Gen III/IV engines equipped with crank and cam sensors and GM 4L60, 4L65, 4L80, or 4L85 transmissions. Not compatible with drive-by-wire throttle bodies or engines with variable valve timing unless these systems are modified or removed.
