      Description

      High-Performance Manifold. The Edelbrock Rectangular Port RPM Air-Gap Manifold-Big Block is engineered to optimize airflow and maximize horsepower for 396-502 cubic inch Chevrolet V8 engines. Its dual-plane, high-rise design combined with air-gap technology delivers a cooler, denser air/fuel mixture, enhancing top-end power and throttle response for both street and competition use.

      Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from cast aluminum and machined in the USA, this intake manifold features a natural satin aluminum finish that provides a classic and durable look. The air-gap design insulates the runners from engine heat, helping maintain lower intake temperatures for improved performance.

      Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and no drilling. Use RTV sealant on end seals rather than end seal gaskets, and ensure hardened washers are used with intake bolts to prevent galling and to maintain proper torque without damaging the aluminum.

      Warranty and Fitment. This manifold comes with a 12-month warranty for quality assurance. It fits 1967-1972 Camaro models but will not fit under the stock hood of 1967-81 Camaro vehicles.
