      Firewall grommets are necessary for a complete restoration or any daily driver second design 1967, 1968, or 1969 Camaro. A rubber firewall grommet is designed to go around parts such as speedometer cables, oil lines, choke or throttle cables, etc. and seal them off from the engine compartment where they pass through the fire wall. If your Camaro does not have these grommets, winter chill, summer heat, engine heat and noxious gasses can pass through firewall holes into the passenger compartment.
