Construction and Appearance. Crafted with rigid steel inserts, the molding provides a sturdy and secure fit. The vinyl wrapping closely matches the original equipment manufacturer’s texture and finish, including the correct molded-in end cap. It is supplied in black and may be painted to suit the vehicle's interior color scheme.

Installation. Installation requires moderate skill and includes spring steel upper clips that secure the molding at the top of the door jamb body lock pillar. Camaro and Firebird kits include new spring steel upper clips for attachment with screws. For Nova and Ventura models, original spring clips should be reused. Proper mounting depends on the existing door jamb clip locations; modifications may be required if these are missing or damaged.

Application. Specified for 1968-1969 Camaros, this windlace molding features spring steel upper clips for proper securing. It is not applicable to later models or those without the corresponding door jamb clip locations.
