Build A Battery Cable Kit - Side Terminal

Here's a kit which will allow you to repair newer GM battery cables, or fabricate side-post cables for older models. It includes heavy duty 0-2 gauge terminals, a molded red cover, a molded black cover, and plated bolts. We recommend "tinning" the bare wires before clamping the terminals on to improve the overall connection. You will need to form the wide part of the crimping area around the wire and make sure it grips very tightly all the way around. The smaller portion of the crimping area is to be formed around the insulation/sheath part of the cable. Once done, simply slip the molded end on and insert the plated bolts.
