It’s designed to operate efficiently on regular 87 octane fuel while providing excellent vacuum for power brake compatibility and smooth drivability with stock torque converters and gearing.
Construction and Appearance. This engine features a durable high-strength cast iron block machined and manufactured in the USA, paired with BluePrint’s aluminum cylinder heads featuring raised ports for enhanced flow. The stroke and rod assembly include a cast crankshaft with forged connecting rods and hypereutectic pistons, optimized with a hydraulic roller camshaft. The overall assembly is finished with components like an aluminum dual-plane intake manifold, Holley vacuum secondary carburetor, HEI distributor, and detailed valve covers for a factory-inspired yet performance-oriented look.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with factory-style provisions such as clutch linkage taps and a mechanical fuel pump provision. The engine fits standard GM small block 350 applications, allowing a seamless replacement or upgrade process.
