HIGH-PERFORMANCE CARBURETOR. The Edelbrock 800 CFM AVS2 Carburetor Thunder Series delivers advanced fuel atomization technology optimized for high-horsepower small and big-block engines. Designed to provide smooth throttle response and improved low- to mid-RPM power without sacrificing top-end performance, it enhances drivability and eliminates flat spots. This carburetor is ideal for enthusiasts seeking EFI-like control and consistent tuning in a manual choke configuration.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. Constructed from durable aluminum, this four-barrel carburetor features a satin finish providing a clean and professional appearance. The precision-machined body includes updated primary and secondary boosters designed for accurate fuel delivery calibrated for modern fuels. The ease-of-tuning two-piece design allows adjustments and internal component replacements without removing the carburetor or draining fuel.
INSTALLATION. Installation requires no drilling and is straightforward for enthusiasts with moderate mechanical experience. The carburetor is compatible with certain Ford automatic overdrive transmissions when used with an appropriate bracket.
WARRANTY. This product includes a 12-month warranty.
APPLICATION. Fits 67-72 Camaro. Note: Manual choke AVS2 carburetors cannot be converted to electric choke and are not compatible with alcohol, race, or E85 fuels. Use of a new fuel filter is required to maintain warranty compliance.
