The premium, 2-ply nylon carpet used in the mats wears like iron and will maintain its good looks from the day you buy it until its time to trade. Underneath the carpet is a polypropylene mesh material and latex backing that help the carpet hold its floor hugging shape followed by a water resistant backing that keeps water from ever reaching the carpet. Finally the Tractionbac composition rubber barrier provides a non-skid backing. In addition Lloyd Mats for Corvettes use their exclusive anchor post system which screws into the carpet and then attaches through the two mat grommets just like a C5 & C6 Corvettes. The finishing touch on these Lloyd Mats for Corvettes is the luxurious velour binding.
