Advanced Ignition Control. The MSD 1958-96 6AL Multiple Spark Discharge Ignition is a high-performance ignition control box designed to optimize spark energy and ignition timing. It features an internal microprocessor that monitors and controls every firing and rev limit, enhancing power output and engine efficiency while providing essential engine protection through its built-in adjustable rev limiter.
Construction and Appearance. This ignition control box is housed in a durable red case with sealed, locking connectors to protect wiring and simplify installation. The components are engineered for high efficiency, delivering enhanced spark voltage output while using less current. Its compact surface-mount design includes vibration mounts and all necessary hardware for secure installation.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, with the included wiring harness and mounting hardware ensuring a clean, professional setup. The sealed connector system protects wiring, and the rev limiter dials are easily accessible on the unit's top.
Warranty. This product includes a manufacturer’s limited one-year warranty.
