Description
Performance Exhaust System. The Flowmaster American Thunder Crossmember-Back Exhaust System upgrades exhaust flow for 1967-1968 Camaros equipped with V8 engines. It enhances throttle response and horsepower while delivering the classic deep muscle car sound enthusiasts desire. This system provides a complete crossmember-back dual exhaust solution with an aggressive to moderate exterior and interior tone.
Construction and Appearance. The exhaust system features mandrel-bent 16-gauge aluminized steel tubing for optimal flow and durability. It includes a built-in H-pipe to balance exhaust pulses and two Super 44 series chambered mufflers finished in black high-temperature paint. The oval-shaped mufflers and 2.50-inch tailpipes exit in the factory locations, maintaining a clean, factory-appropriate look.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with included hangers, clamps, hardware, and mounting brackets for a true bolt-on fit. The system comes with detailed instructions to guide you through the process.
Warranty. This exhaust system is backed by the manufacturer's warranty to ensure quality and longevity.
Application. Fits 1967-1968 V8 Camaro Models. For convertible models, spacer adjustments or replacement of the factory convertible body brace with a Hotchkis Performance brace may be required for proper fitment.
