The correct-appearing shifter is set up for 6L80E and 6L90E. It's perfect for cars originally equipped with a Powerglide. The shifter has a black ball, 6" stainless steel handle and button with factory like reverse lock-out, and detents for each gear. It is not designed for use as a racing shifter. It functions exactly like a 1960s era factory shifter but allows full use of the upgraded 3-speed automatic. It includes a fully functional back-up light and neutral safety switches, has a universal floor mounting bracket kit, and complete 5/16" rod linkage kit. The floor opening may require some minor trimming, but not so much that the original shifter couldn't be made to work again. It is made in the USA.
