      Description

The Mr. Gasket Header Gaskets GEN 1 262-400 w/Round Ports 1.5 is designed to provide a reliable seal between the header and the cylinder head on Chevrolet small block engines. It effectively prevents exhaust leaks, ensuring engine efficiency and optimal performance during street or racing applications.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from a high-temperature steel core with a graphite-faced exhaust material, this gasket features an expanded steel core that stabilizes and retains torque to prevent failure. The graphite facing offers excellent heat resistance and thermal conductivity, allowing heat to dissipate efficiently. It has a flat finish and a thickness of .062 inch, engineered to conform to and seal minor surface imperfections.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward and designed to fit OEM specifications without requiring modifications or drilling. The gasket can be trimmed for custom port applications if needed, simplifying customization and ensuring a perfect fit.

      Warranty. This product includes a manufacturer’s limited 90-day warranty to protect against defects.
