High-Performance Silicone. The Black Auto Glass Silicone Seal 10.3 Oz is a neutral cure sealant designed for industrial and construction use. It bonds well with various surfaces, creating a flexible, durable seal that resists weather, aging, and corrosion, making it vital for glazing and general sealing applications.
Construction and Appearance. Made from 100% silicone, this medium modulus sealant cures into a tough elastomeric rubber with a black, smooth finish. It maintains flexibility across a wide temperature range from below freezing to high heat.
Installation. This sealant is user-friendly with an easy application process. It comes with a screw-on tapered nozzle that can be trimmed to control bead size, facilitating precise and efficient sealing.
Warranty. The product includes a 20-year limited warranty ensuring long-term flexibility when applied and used correctly.
Fitment and Application. This sealant is compatible for insulating glass glazing and is excellent for bonding to most surfaces. It does not cause corrosion in contact with metals, is not recommended for concrete or stone expansion joints or areas subject to abrasion, physical abuse, or submersion.
